Junior Agogo: Former Ghana striker remembered three years after his death

 It’s been three years since the death of former Ghana striker Junior Agogo, and a relative has paid tribute to him on social media with an emotional message.

Agogo, who played for the Black Stars between 2006 and 2009, died on August 22, 2019. He was 40.

The striker suffered from a stroke and had difficulty speaking before passing away in London.

Nana Yaa, a musician and Agogo’s cousin, posted photos of him with a heartfelt caption, writing, “So, I won’t hear you call me Yaa Nana, sing and dance with you, or cook your favourite Ghanaian food for you anymore?

“It’s 3 years today since your passing. It’s so hard seeing these videos and pictures of you and knowing you’re not amongst the living anymore.”

“I know you’re in a better place but it hurts so much. It’s not fair. We miss you #Juuju Keep resting in peace.”
